Linux Backups

Introduction

This page is for reminding me of what needs backing up when I move PC

Desktop

On the desktop I should look at

• Dev
• Documents
• Downloads
• Pictures
• /etc
• .config/google-chrome

Make sure the following are removed

• node_modules
• Py Environments

You need to check

• Any databases, Postgres or MySQL
• /usr/local anything
• /var/lib
